In effect, an "engined up" J3 Cub, the Super Cub was so popular that Piper was still building this aircraft right up until 1981, after which they sold the manufacturing rights, by which time they had sold 2,650 examples. The engine was uprated to 150hp, giving the Super Cub a top speed of 130mph. This extra power also made the Super Cub ideal for glider towing.

The micro-sized Super Cub comes completely ready to fly, including everything in the box needed to fly right down to the AA transmitter batteries. Molded of EPO foam, the Super Cub is scale in appearance and durable to boot! Full house controls and a steerable tail wheel make the Super Cub an aerobatic touch and go machine. The 2808 brushless motor and 2S 7.4V 500mAh LiPoly battery provide the Super Cub with ample power and flight duration for long park flying sessions.

Available in two versions, Mode I (throttle on the right) or Mode II (throttle on the left) there is a Super Cub to fit all modellers.
